David Conner is a dedicated professional in the aviation industry, with a strong foundation in both academic and practical experiences. He graduated from Utah Valley University in 2023 with a degree in Aviation Management, where he developed a keen interest in data extraction and comparison methods to address industry challenges.
David’s passion lies in the operational aspects of aviation, and he is committed to leveraging data-driven techniques to enhance the efficiency of day-to-day operations. During his college years, he founded the Aviation Management Club, providing students with hands-on experience through local aviation projects.
Additionally, during his college years, David collaborated with Salt Lake International Airport to study hardstand operations, seeking ways to optimize operations and minimize delays. His work extended to general aviation (GA) airports, where he conducted studies on noise operations and their impact on local communities, demonstrating his commitment to improving aviation operations and community relations.
His professional journey began at Breeze Airways, where he served as a Pricing Intern. In this role, David focused on rewriting and building data extraction methods for pricing and commercial data. He then advanced to the position of Revenue Management and Commercial Analyst, supporting the operations research team in developing a revenue management system. David also contributed to building tools aimed at measuring demand and improving flight yield.
David’s technical expertise includes proficiency in Python, SQL, Database Architecture, Excel VBA, PowerQuery, PowerBI, and Tableau. Currently, he works as a Business Intelligence Developer, where he thrives on tackling complex problems. Additionally, David serves part-time as an Operations Dispatcher for Intermountain LifeFlight medical transports, further showcasing his versatility and dedication to the aviation field.
